The gorgeous Amber Heard spent the weekend partying up in Las Vegas. Here’s a reportage courtesy of TheVegasEye.com:

Friday night at TAO Las Vegas saw Pineapple Express actress Amber Heard hosting the Las Vegas hotspot. Amber arrived with a group of female friends, which included her sister Whitney. Amber looked beautiful wearing a stunning black belted dress and looked at ease posing for photos on the red carpet.

After posing for photos on the red carpet, Amber and the group headed to dinner inside TAO Asian Bistro where they dined on assorted sushi, Chilean sea bass and Buddha chicken. During dinner the ladies were drinking champagne and toasting to the night.

After dinner was complete, TAO surprised Amber with a Giant Fortune Cookie dessert platter that she was excited to receive. After dessert, the group headed up to the dance floor VIP area where they all danced to the sounds of DJ Berrie.

Stoner movie Pineapple Express fell a few hits short of knocking The Dark Knight out of his Batmobile as the Caped Crusader powered to his fourth straight weekend as the box-office leader.

Sony Pictures’ R-rated comedy about a pothead and his small-time dealer on the lam from the law and a ruthless drug lord after witnessing a murder scored $22.4 million for the weekend, for a total of $40.4 million since opening Wednesday.

Strong numbers for a movie that cost about $27 million to produce, but not enough to overtake Warner Bros.’ Batman blockbuster, which pulled in $26 million for the weekend and boosted its domestic total to $441.5 million.

Pineapple Express opened in US cinemas yesterday. I hope you’re all enjoying the film and Amber’s performance as Dale Denton’s neurotic high school girlfriend Angie Anderson.

Thanks to Lizzlea for alerting us that the trailer for The Informers has been released and can be viewed here at YouTube. It looks really cool - I cannot wait to see this one! I’ve made screencaps of Amber’s role. Watch out for some nudity if you’re easily offended.

As we earlier reported, the Pineapple Express premiere was held yesterday evening in Westwood. Amber was in attendance and she looked nothing short of flawless in a stunning black number. Very classy and beautiful!

We now have more details on Amber’s look, courtesy of Sawf News:

Amber Heard made an exquisite style statement in an asymmetrical Giorgio Armani cocktail dress and Bvlgari jewels at the Pineapple Express L.A. premiere at the Mann theater in Westwood, CA, on Thursday, July 31.

The form revealing dress with a bold neckline flaunted her svelte figure. She matched it with sixties makeover: winged out eyeliner, red eye shadow that complimented her lip color and a puffed top hair.

She accessorized with black peeptoe pumps, bangles and wide bracelets riding up to half of her right arm, multiple chunky rings in both her hands and hoop earrings.

Amber, 22, plays the role of Angie Anderson in the $25 million budget stoner-action comedy film starring Seth Rogen and James Franco. According to producer Judd Apatow, the inspiration for the film came from Brad Pitt’s character in True Romance (1993), a stoner named Floyd.
